I modified the rudder of my Hobbyking Skipper RC plane so that it would be both good in the water and great on land. This is the first time I have ever flown it off of water. Compared to my normal flying area, this lake is a bit smaller. This is some of the toughest flying I’ve done. It take quite a bit for the plane to come up off of the water and then it wants to go straight up…then you have to power down the motor a lot and keep it out of the trees (and this planes flies pretty fast!). Still a lot of fun though.
