Three of my grand daughters and I had a wonderful time exploring the southern area of the Blue Ridge Parkway recently. I believe this is one of the prettiest areas in the USA. Just some of our highlights included visits to Mount Mitchell (the highest point in eastern North America), Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Cove Viaduct, Black Mountain National Park Campground, the Mountain View Restaurant and more. If you’ve never been there, you really ought to go at least once. Below is a short video that google photos generated of our trip.
